Sales struggled and occupancy rates were low, forcing Disney to slash nightly rates up to 30 percent and reduce the number of voyages.
The closure is part of Disney’s cost-cutting efforts to save $5.5 billion, including canceling plans to build a $1 billion corporate campus.
