Disney Licenses 'Under the Banner of Heaven', 'Extraordinary' to ITVX

Disney has licensed 'Under the Banner of Heaven' and 'Extraordinary' to UK streamer ITVX, with both series set to launch in the first half of 2024.
'Under the Banner of Heaven', an FX production, is a drama series inspired by a true crime bestseller, starring Andrew Garfield and Daisy Edgar-Jones.
'Extraordinary', a Disney+ UK original production, is a comedy set in a world where everyone develops a superpower on their 18th birthday, except for the main character, Jen.
The deal was negotiated by ITV Head of Content Acquisitions Sasha Breslau, as part of Disney's strategy to generate additional revenue by licensing content.
Both series will continue to be available on Disney+ in the U.K. and Ireland, with 'Extraordinary' Season 2 coming to the platform in early 2024.
