Overview

• Cars: Lightning Racers will debut in 2027 on Disney Jr. and Disney+ with the original Cars cast—Owen Wilson, Larry the Cable Guy, Tony Shalhoub, Cheech Marin, Bob Peterson and John Ratzenberger—reprising their roles.
• Marvel’s Avengers: Mightiest Friends will launch in 2027 as the first preschool Avengers series, introducing kid versions of Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Black Panther, Black Widow and Thor.
• Disney Jr. secured Seasons 2 and 3 of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ for 2027 and 2028 after the series became the #1 streaming show for Kids 2–5 following its July premiere.
• New specials and season premieres are scheduled, including Marvel’s Spidey and Iron Man: Avengers Team Up! on October 16, Disney Jr. Ariel – The Little Mermaid on August 22, Firebuds Season 3 on September 15 and Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures Season 3 this fall.
• Additional casting for preschool originals was unveiled, featuring Wayne Brady, Tim Gunn and Eric Stonestreet in Sofia the First: Royal Magic alongside Ariel Winter, and Amari McCoy with Jhené Aiko in Hey A.J.!
