Overview

  • Two 22-minute Marvel’s Spidey and Iron Man: Avengers Team Up! specials are scheduled for October 16, 2025, and fall 2026 to air on Disney Jr. with next-day availability on Disney+.
  • Disney Jr. greenlit Marvel’s Avengers: Mightiest Friends, its first preschool Avengers series featuring kid versions of Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Black Panther, Black Widow and Thor, for a 2027 premiere on Disney Jr. and Disney+.
  • Cars: Lightning Racers, a new preschool series based on Disney and Pixar’s Cars films, will debut in 2027 on Disney Jr. and Disney+ with Owen Wilson and Larry the Cable Guy returning as Lightning McQueen and Mater alongside new characters.
