Disney Issues Jollywood Nights Rain Plan for 2026
The new guidance keeps the ticketed holiday party running through most storms by naming at‑risk outdoor shows and assigning indoor relocation sites for character meet‑and‑greets.
Overview
- Disney published the inclement weather plan on November 3, 2026, saying Jollywood Nights will continue through most rain, thunder, and lightning while some elements may be changed or canceled.
- Outdoor shows most likely to be cut include Glisten! on the Chinese Theater rink and the Twilight Soirée at the Tip Top Club, and Disney will add midnight showings of Disney Holidays in Hollywood to make up lost performances.
- The guide lists exact indoor relocation sites for outdoor character meets such as The Magic of Disney Animation, Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, Pixar Plaza, ABC Commissary, and The Edna Mode Experience so guests can still meet many characters under cover.
- Some characters will remain in their regular outdoor spots during bad weather, select dining locations and shops will stay open, and some rides may close for lightning with live status posted in the My Disney Experience app.
- The plan does not specify refunds or rain checks and relies on past, case‑by‑case precedent such as ticket conversions or refunds from prior weather hits, so ticket holders should expect changes to specific experiences even when the event continues.
