Disney+ Implements Password Sharing Fees and Price Hikes

Disney+ now charges for adding users outside your household and increases subscription prices starting October 17.

Disney+ introduces 'Extra Member' add-on costing $6.99/month for Basic and $9.99/month for Premium plans.
Only one Extra Member can be added per account, and the feature is unavailable for Disney Bundle subscribers.
Subscribers traveling or moving can use one-time passcodes to access their account away from home.
Price increases will raise Disney+ Basic to $9.99/month and Premium to $15.99/month.
The crackdown on password sharing follows similar successful measures by Netflix.
