Disney Global Publicity Chief Michelle Sewell to Retire in April 2026

Her planned April 2026 exit follows 33 years building Disney’s integrated worldwide PR operation.

  • She remains in place to steer awards campaigns and publicity for key 2025 theatrical releases including Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere (Oct. 24), Predator: Badlands (Nov. 7), Zootopia 2 (Nov. 26) and Avatar: Fire & Ash (Dec. 19).

  • Over three decades, she created the studio’s first global publicity team and oversaw campaigns for top-grossing and awards-recognized titles across Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Walt Disney Animation Studios and 20th Century Studios.
