• On August 18, Walt Disney World’s website announced that routine exterior maintenance at Yacht Club will run until late 2026 and at Beach Club until 2027.
• The updated notices specify that the Yacht Club porte cochere will be closed through October 2025 and the Beach Club entrance through September 2025.
• Disney cautions that guests may encounter visible daytime construction and alternate travel paths across both resorts.
• Despite the work, all core services—including valet, luggage assistance, transportation—as well as pools, dining venues, and most amenities will remain available.
• The extensions are part of a wider property refresh that has included Stormalong Bay’s summer reopening, earlier Yacht Club room and lobby updates, Beach Club lobby work, and a planned Disney Skyliner closure in January 2026.
