Disney Expands Storyliving Residential Communities with New Development North Carolina

Asteria, a 1,500-acre community with over 4,000 homes, is set to begin sales by 2027, expanding Disney-branded communities to the East Coast.

Disney is expanding its Storyliving residential communities with a new development named Asteria in North Carolina, near Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill.
The 1,500-acre community will include over 4,000 single-family and multifamily homes, with some sites designated for residents aged 55 and older.
Asteria will feature a wellness and recreational center, restaurant, sports courts, swimming pools, community garden, and space for lawn games and events.
Sales for homes in Asteria are expected to begin by 2027, with prices yet to be announced. However, single-family homes in Cotino, Disney's first Storyliving community in California, are expected to start from the upper $1 million to lower $2 million range.
The announcement of Asteria follows strong initial interest in the Cotino community, expanding Disney-branded communities to the East Coast.
