• Walt Disney Studios released six IMAX character posters spotlighting Jared Leto, Jeff Bridges, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Jodie Turner-Smith and Gillian Anderson, with branding that highlights the Nine Inch Nails score.
• An extended promo titled “Flynn Lives” recaps Kevin Flynn’s story from the first two films and positions his return as a bridge into the new chapter.
• D23 will host October 8 triple-feature events at Hollywood’s El Capitan Theatre and AMC Disney Springs with TRON, TRON: Legacy and an early screening of Tron: Ares, with tickets on sale to members.
• Event perks include a light-up wristband, a themed popcorn bucket, complimentary concessions and a program runtime of about six hours and forty-five minutes starting at 3 p.m. local time.
• Disney will release TRON and TRON: Legacy on 4K UHD on September 16, followed by the Tron: Ares original soundtrack by Nine Inch Nails on September 19 via Interscope, ahead of the October 10 theatrical and IMAX opening.
