Disney Dreamlight Valley to Launch Multiplayer 'ValleyVerse', New Characters, and 'A Rift in Time' Expansion in December

"ValleyVerse" Multiplayer Mode, New Characters from Disney Classics, and "A Rift in Time" Expansion to Enhance Disney Dreamlight Valley's Gaming Experience; Scrapped Plans for Free-to-Play Model Raise Concerns.

Disney Dreamlight Valley, developed by Gameloft, will introduce the 'ValleyVerse' multiplayer mode, allowing players to visit each other's islands, homes, and trade items.
The game's first expansion, 'A Rift in Time', will be launched on December 5, introducing a new area, characters, and story quests, including the new main antagonist Jafar from 'Aladdin'.
Despite previous announcements to transition to a free-to-play model, Dreamlight Valley will remain a paid game, which has caused some concerns among fans.
Apart from the major updates, the game is set to add new characters such as Jack Skellington, Mike and Sulley from 'Monsters Inc', and Tiana from 'The Princess and the Frog' in the coming year.
The 'A Rift in Time' expansion will include new biomes and characters such as Eve from 'Wall-E', Gaston from 'Beauty and the Beast', and Rapunzel from 'Tangled', along with new gameplay features like the Hourglass tool and in-game board games.
