• The Rivers of America at Magic Kingdom has been nearly emptied, exposing the riverbed, guiderails and other submerged features.
• Crews have relocated the Liberty Belle Riverboat backstage and removed its docking infrastructure along the riverbank.
• Construction fences and walls now line the Frontierland corridor, forcing the Walt Disney World Railroad to run a shortened route.
• Adjacent areas are also in transition, with Adventureland’s iconic entrance removed, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin closed for a major reimagining and the Cool Ship kiosk demolished.
• Disney has not released firm opening dates for the Cars-inspired Piston Peak National Park or the planned Villains land, though industry observers expect them by 2028–29.
