Disney Cruise Line Ends Walt Disney World Add-Ons for Cruises Starting Jan. 2, 2026

Disney says the change helps guests secure better packages and pricing unavailable in the cruise booking system.

Overview

  • Beginning January 2, 2026, resort stays and theme park tickets at Walt Disney World can no longer be added to Disney Cruise Line bookings.
  • Guests must book Walt Disney World hotels and park tickets separately to tap seasonal offers and package deals.
  • Existing add-ons remain in place, but any change to the hotel, room type, or length of stay requires canceling and rebooking.
  • Ground transfers between Walt Disney World and Port Canaveral remain available, as do pre- and post-nights at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport and Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront.
  • Pre- and post-nights at Walt Disney World lose coverage under the Disney Cruise Line Protection Plan, aligning with broader Disney destination booking changes in 2026.
