Disney Cruise Line Debuts Haunted Mansion ‘Happy Hunt’ on Disney Treasure in October

The interactive game uses DisneyBand+ to trigger effects on artwork around the ship as guests track down wayward spirits for Madame Leota.

Aboard the Disney Treasure, the Haunted Mansion Parlor honors more than five decades of fandom and introduces the world to the next chapter of the Haunted Mansion saga. Guests will enjoy spooktacular, specialty cocktails themed to the classic Disney Parks attraction and its inhabitants, as well as a variety of Haunted Mansion details from around the world. Overview

  • Disney Parks announced the experience on Instagram on September 24 with a preview titled “The Haunted Mansion Happy Hunt: A DisneyBand+ Experience.”
  • Players begin by scanning their DisneyBand+ in the Haunted Mansion Parlor, then find hidden ghosts and return them to Madame Leota for a swinging wake.
  • DisneyBand+ activations prompt ghostly animations on portraits across the vessel, including non–Haunted Mansion artwork such as Pocahontas and Steamboat Willie pieces.
