• Disney will close Star Wars Launch Bay and Disney Junior Play and Dance! on Sept. 24, 2025, with the Animation Courtyard transformation set to begin Sept. 25.
• The Magic of Disney Animation, due to open in 2026, will recreate the Burbank studio lot and feature a restored Sorcerer Hat facade and reimagined architecture.
• Based on the Emmy-winning Once Upon a Studio short, the new attraction will include animated moving portraits, guest sketch classes and an original short film.
• A Drawn to Wonderland playground styled after Mary Blair’s artwork will offer families an air-conditioned, oversized flower garden with themed playsets.
• Concurrent permit filings and construction walls at the former Muppet Courtyard confirm work on Monsters, Inc. land and a planned 2026 Muppets retheme of Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster.
