Disney CFO Christine McCarthy Steps Down, Taking Family Leave; Parks Executive Named Interim Replacement

McCarthy is stepping down from her role as CFO at Disney to take a family medical leave of absence.
Kevin Lansberry, currently CFO of Disney's theme parks division, will replace her in an interim capacity starting July 1.
McCarthy will continue serving as a strategic adviser to help transition her successor into the role.
During her 22-year career at Disney, McCarthy helped steer the company through major acquisitions and crises, including the COVID-19 pandemic.
Her departure comes as Disney restructures operations and cuts costs in the face of financial pressures from its streaming services and theme park closures.
