• Disney Branded Television advanced Coven Academy from a March pilot order to a full series commitment on August 15, 2025.
• Tim Federle wrote and directed the pilot and will serve as executive producer through his Chorus Boy Productions with Kimberly McCullough and Bronwyn North-Reist also onboard.
• The show’s original storyline follows a trio of teenage witches-in-training in New Orleans tasked with safeguarding the city against ancient magical forces.
• The ensemble pairs veteran actress Tiffani Thiessen with rising talents Malina Pauli Weissman, Malachi Barton, Louis Thresher, Jordan Leftwich and Ora Duplass, supported by recurring players Brendon Tremblay, Swayam Bhatia and Keegan Connor Tracy.
• As one of Disney’s first non-franchise YA supernatural series, Coven Academy signals the network’s push into original, creator-driven teen fantasy programming.
