Disney Announces 'The Greatest Showman' Stage Musical

The beloved 2017 film will be adapted for the stage, with plans for a Broadway debut and a West End run.

The stage adaptation was revealed at Disney's D23 Expo, featuring a live performance of 'The Greatest Show.'
The musical will feature songs by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, who wrote the original film's soundtrack.
Casey Nicholaw, known for 'Aladdin' and 'The Book of Mormon,' will direct the production.
The show is set to premiere in Bristol in early 2026 before moving to London's Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
No casting details have been announced, and Hugh Jackman is not currently involved in the stage production.
