Disney Announces Splash Mountain Replacement Will Open Late 2024

Disneyland's Splash Mountain closed permanently on May 31, 2023.
Tiana's Bayou Adventure, based on Disney's The Princess and the Frog, will replace Splash Mountain.
The new ride will open at Magic Kingdom in 2024 and at Disneyland shortly after.
Tiana's Bayou Adventure will feature dozens of new animatronics and new characters not in the original film.
Any animatronics used in Splash Mountain will not be featured on the new ride due to controversy about the film behind the log flume ride.
