Disney+ and ITVX to Swap Curated Show Collections in Streaming Partnership

Launching July 16, the partnership will use ad-supported tiers to broaden audiences with rotating free selections

Overview

  • On Disney+, a “Taste of ITVX” section will feature UK hits including Mr Bates vs The Post Office, Love Island, and espionage thriller Spy Among Friends.
  • ITVX’s “Taste of Disney+” hub will showcase Disney+ titles such as The Bear, Andor, and family series like Phineas and Ferb.
  • The curated collections will rotate every few months and be available at no extra charge to subscribers.
  • ITV will handle advertising sales for the curated “Taste of Disney+” section on ITVX and Disney will sell ads for the “Taste of ITVX” hub on its ad-supported tier.
  • Disney and ITV are in active talks to roll out similar content-swap arrangements across other European markets.
