Overview

  • Disney+ and ITVX will launch “Taste of ITVX” and “Taste of Disney+” rails on July 16, offering free access to roughly 70–100 hours of curated programming on each platform.
  • Disney+ will feature ITVX hits such as Mr Bates vs The Post Office, Spy Among Friends and Love Island, while ITVX will stream Disney+ series including The Bear, Andor and Only Murders in the Building alongside select reality and family titles.
  • The content selections will refresh every two months with titles chosen based on viewer engagement and upcoming releases on both services.
  • Each company will retain advertising rights on the other’s “Taste” rail, with ITV selling ads on ITVX’s Disney+ content and Disney+ Standard with Ads handling ad sales for the ITVX lineup.
  • Executives say they are in active discussions to replicate the reciprocal content-sharing model with other broadcasters across Europe.
