Dismembered Body Found In 1997 Identified As 20-Year-Old California Man

Body of headless and handless victim identified as 20-year-old Jeffrey Douglas Kimzey of Santa Barbara, California after 26 years.
Kimzey was likely stabbed or shot before body parts were removed to prevent identification.
The missing body parts and removed organs made identifying Kimzey difficult.
DNA phenotyping technology generated new leads and investigators have persons of interest.
The Marshall County Sheriff's Office and State Bureau of Investigation are actively investigating the case.
