Disha Salian’s Father Alleges Murder and Cover-Up, Seeks CBI Probe

Satish Salian, father of late celebrity manager Disha Salian, has filed a petition in the Bombay High Court alleging that his daughter was raped and murdered, and that a political cover-up followed to protect influential individuals.
The petition specifically names Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray and requests the registration of an FIR and a transfer of the investigation to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
Shiv Sena (UBT) leaders, including Aaditya Thackeray and Sanjay Raut, have denied the allegations, calling them a politically motivated attempt to defame Thackeray ahead of elections.
Disha Salian’s death in June 2020 was initially classified as accidental by Mumbai Police, who formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) in 2023, but no new evidence has since emerged.
Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, KK Singh, has expressed support for the petition, hoping it will shed light on both Disha Salian and Sushant Singh Rajput’s deaths.
