Disgruntled Customer Sets Ola Showroom on Fire in Karnataka

A 26-year-old mechanic was arrested after setting fire to six bikes over dissatisfaction with e-scooter servicing.

Mohammad Nadeem, a mechanic, set fire to an Ola Electric showroom in Kalaburagi, Karnataka, after multiple unresolved service issues with his e-scooter.
The incident resulted in damages estimated at ₹8 lakh, but no injuries were reported.
Nadeem had purchased the e-scooter last month and faced ongoing problems that were not adequately addressed by the showroom staff.
Ola Electric condemned the act of arson and stated that legal action would be taken to prevent such incidents in the future.
The fire was quickly extinguished by firefighters, and a case has been registered with the local police.
