Discovery+ Raises Monthly Subscription Prices for US Customers

The streaming service's ad-supported and ad-free plans increase by $1, effective immediately for new subscribers and next month for existing ones.

The ad-supported plan now costs $5.99 per month, up from $4.99, marking its first price increase since the service launched in 2021.
The ad-free plan has increased to $9.99 per month, up from $8.99, following a previous hike in late 2023.
Price changes are effective immediately for new subscribers, while existing customers will see the increase starting with their next billing cycle on or after February 7, 2025.
Subscribers currently on promotional deals will not experience the price hike until their promotional period ends.
Discovery+ offers content from networks like HGTV, TLC, and Food Network, and its library is also available through Warner Bros. Discovery's Max streaming service.
