Dina Manzo's Ex-Husband Sentenced to 7 Years for Mob-Linked Assault

Thomas Manzo was convicted of hiring a Lucchese crime family member to attack his ex-wife's boyfriend in exchange for a wedding reception.

Thomas Manzo, 59, was sentenced to seven years in prison for his role in a 2015 assault on David Cantin, who is now married to Dina Manzo.
Manzo hired John Perna, a member of the Lucchese crime family, to carry out the attack in exchange for hosting Perna's wedding at Manzo's venue.
The assault took place in July 2015, and Perna's wedding reception followed a month later at The Brownstone catering hall in Paterson, New Jersey.
Manzo was convicted of conspiracy, committing a violent crime in aid of racketeering, and falsifying documents to conceal his involvement.
U.S. Attorney Philip Sellinger condemned the crime as abhorrent, emphasizing the commitment to hold accountable those who engage in such acts.
