Digital Life Certificate Campaign 4.0 Launches Nationwide as IPPB, EPFO Seal Doorstep Service Pact

The drive promotes Aadhaar-based face authentication to simplify life-certificate filing for senior citizens.

  • India Post Payments Bank signed an MoU with EPFO to provide free doorstep Digital Life Certificate services using its postal network, face authentication and biometric devices.
  • The month-long nationwide campaign runs from November 1 to 30 with a target to reach two crore pensioners across more than 2,000 cities and towns.
  • Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh is scheduled to attend an SBI Mega Camp at the NDMC Convention Centre in New Delhi today to interact with pensioners and view demonstrations.
  • DoPPW Under Secretary Pravesh Kumar will review a DLC camp in Tenali on November 3 and meet pensioners using face authentication and IPPB doorstep services.
  • The drive coordinates banks, IPPB, UIDAI, MeitY, NIC, CGDA, Railways and pensioners’ groups, with the NIC portal providing real-time monitoring of certificate generation.
