Formal workers account for 56.8% of beneficiaries and 67.6% of the funds, or R$6.2 billion, while INSS retirees and pensioners receive R$2.1 billion and state and municipal regimes total R$847 million. Dieese estimates the transfer corresponds to roughly a 3.5% boost to Ceará’s 2025 GDP. Ceará’s total represents about 2.5% of the nationwide amount and 15.2% of the Northeast distribution, with the Southeast concentrating nearly half of the country’s total and the Northeast at 16.4%. Nationally, approximately 95.3 million people are set to benefit, with the first installment due by November 30 and the second by December 20 in the 2025 payment calendar.
