ABC and Dick Clark Productions have extended their agreement for 'Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest' for five years, ensuring the show will air on the network through Jan. 1, 2029.
The show, which was created in 1972, has been hosted by Ryan Seacrest since 2005, following Dick Clark's stroke.
'Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest' attracted 13.8 million total viewers last year, making it the top-rated New Year’s Eve programming special for more than 30 years.
The upcoming 'Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2024' is set to air live Sunday, Dec. 31, at 8 p.m. on ABC.
