Diamond League to Boost 2025 Prize Money to Record $9.2 Million

World Athletics announces significant prize increase for next season, enhancing support for athletes.

The Diamond League will increase its prize money to a record $9.2 million in 2025, the highest since its inception in 2010.
The 2025 season will feature 14 regular meets starting in April and a two-day final in Zurich in August.
Prize money per discipline will range from $30,000 to $50,000 at regular meets and $60,000 to $100,000 at the final.
Athletes will receive a total of $18 million, including promotional fees, with equal pay for male and female athletes.
Additional investments will be made in athletes' travel, accommodation, medical, and physiotherapy services.
