Overview
- The pilot began on July 7, 2025 and runs for one year without requiring customers to register for Packstation access.
- Around 20 online retailers, including CEWE, Mosaik Tree GmbH, FarbenFux.de and BC GmbH, are participating in the trial.
- Shoppers simply enter a Packstation address at checkout and receive a personalised email code once their parcel is stored.
- Classic Packstations accept the emailed code at the terminal while modern, app-controlled lockers require the Post & DHL App to open compartments.
- DHL plans to expand the roster of participating retailers and will use user feedback from the pilot to determine if the registration waiver becomes permanent.
