Overview

  • Navbharat Mega Developers Pvt Ltd, the project SPV, began construction on June 3 after Maharashtra authorities transferred the Kurla Mother Dairy plot to kick off housing and infrastructure work.
  • SVR Srinivas has implemented a fully digitized survey and digital twin mapping tied to a tiered grievance redressal mechanism to ensure every dwelling and commercial unit is recorded transparently.
  • Under the Adani GroupMaharashtra government PPP, eligible residents will receive 350-square-foot flats with independent kitchens and toilets at no cost, while others are offered rental homes or purchase options in Mumbai.
  • The master plan allocates nearly one-third of the ₹95,790-crore budget to 9- to 36-metre internal roads, home-to-home sewage connections and expansive public open spaces to boost sanitation and mobility.
  • The project formalizes Dharavi’s informal economy by granting entitlements to 19,000 business units and adopting a ‘walk to work’ design that places workplaces and amenities within a 15-minute radius of homes.
