Overview
- Dhanush released the official trailer on Thursday, offering the first full look at a story that shifts from a budding romance into a supernatural mystery.
- The film stars G V Prakash Kumar as Mahi and Kayadu Lohar as Sindhu and is written and directed by debutant Mariyappan Chinna.
- The trailer uses striking, partly ambiguous images — an opening bonfire sequence, confined apartment scenes, and a monster-like figure — while keeping key plot twists secret.
- Produced by Arunkumar Dhanasekaran under AK Film Factor, Immortal credits Sam CS for music and Arun Radhakrishnan for cinematography and has received a U certificate from the CBFC.
- Coverage notes Dhanush’s role is promotional only and that the debut director, first-time on-screen pairing of the leads, and modest production scale are shaping early expectations ahead of the September 4 release.
