Overview

• On June 23, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar inaugurated the Association of Indian Universities’ annual meet and national conference of vice chancellors at Amity University.
• Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel attended programmes at Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University in Sector 62 and GL Bajaj Institute of Technology & Management in Greater Noida.
• The two-day conference, themed “Envisioning Future Higher Education,” drew about 300 vice chancellors in person and another 200 participants online.
• Noida Traffic Police enforced temporary closures on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, the Sector 62–18 elevated road and the DND Flyway while diverting vehicles at major junctions.
• All goods vehicles were barred from main VIP routes from 7:00 AM until the events concluded and motorists have been urged to plan alternative routes or call the traffic helpline.
