DGT Activates Holiday Traffic Operation Today for 5.7 Million Trips

  • Traffic surges are forecast on Friday from 17:00 to 22:00 and on Saturday from 10:00 to 14:00, with strong outbound flows on Sunday and concentrated returns Monday afternoon affecting main corridors and mountain access roads.
  • Authorities will field Guardia Civil traffic agents, eight DGT management centers, and technical resources including fixed and mobile speed radars, helicopters, drones and cameras.
