Regulatory scrutiny intensifies over IndiGo’s handling of new pilot‑duty rules.

  • CEO Pieter Elbers was summoned to the DGCA on Thursday to present comprehensive data on fleet deployment, crew strength, rostering and recovery plans, and he arrived for the meeting in the afternoon.
  • IndiGo says its full network has been reconnected since December 8 and is targeting over 1,950 flights today, yet more than 100 cancellations were reported by early afternoon, including 60 in Bengaluru and 36 in Chennai.

  • IndiGo announced Rs 10,000 travel vouchers for passengers severely affected on December 3–5 and said refunds for cancelled flights have been processed, in addition to government‑mandated payouts.
