DFB Unveils Retro Jersey to Celebrate 125th Anniversary
The special-edition design pays homage to the 1974 World Cup-winning kit and will debut during the Nations League quarterfinals against Italy.
- The German Football Association (DFB) has released a limited-edition jersey in collaboration with Adidas to commemorate its 125th anniversary.
- The jersey design is inspired by the 1974 World Cup-winning kit, featuring a white base, black round collar, and sleeve cuffs, with nods to the DFB's history.
- Absent from the jersey is the Federal Eagle emblem, replaced by a specially embroidered 125th-anniversary crest referencing the DFB's founding in Leipzig in 1900.
- The men's national team will first wear the jersey on March 20 in Milan during the Nations League quarterfinals against Italy, with the women's team debuting it in April.
- The jersey is available for purchase starting March 17, with prices ranging from €75 for children’s sizes to €110 for adult long-sleeve versions.
