Groß received a red card for a last-man foul on Wolfsburg's Lukas Nmecha during Dortmund's 3-1 victory on Sunday.
Amiri was sent off for a rough tackle on Eintracht Frankfurt's Ellyes Skhiri in Mainz's 3-1 derby win.
Groß will miss Dortmund's matches against Bayer Leverkusen on January 10 and Holstein Kiel on January 14, while Amiri will be absent for Mainz's games against VfL Bochum and Bayer Leverkusen.
The DFB disciplinary committee imposed the minimum suspension for both players, citing the nature of the fouls and their prior disciplinary records.
