Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 Is First Production at Manhattan’s Sunset Pier 94 Studios

Expanded New York tax incentives helped secure the series’ move into the new facility.

Paramount Television Studios signed a 70,000-square-foot lease, including two sound stages plus production support and offices.
The 232,000-square-foot complex, billed as Manhattan’s first purpose-built studio with six stages up to 36-foot clear heights, opens later this month.
Paramount cited access to New York creative talent and a competitive tax-credit program, with season two qualifying for an extra 10% credit on top of the state’s 30% baseline.
Developers Vornado Realty Trust, Hudson Pacific Properties and Blackstone said pre-leasing interest is strong and highlighted community amenities and workforce training plans.
Project backers project 400 permanent jobs and $6.4 billion in economic impact over 30 years, while Paramount also holds a separate 10-year lease at New Jersey’s 1888 Studios.
