Overview
- The Ekadashi tithi began at 6:58 PM on July 5 and ends at 9:14 PM on July 6, with Parana (fast-breaking) scheduled between 5:29 AM and 8:16 AM on July 7
- Devotees maintain strict sattvic diets, chant the Vishnu Sahasranama and perform puja rituals to honour Lord Vishnu’s entry into Yog Nidra
- Warkari pilgrims proceed in large groups toward Pandharpur, sustaining communal faith through bhajans and kirtans along the route
- Traditional offerings such as saffron kheer, black sesame laddus, panjiri and Panchamrit are presented at home and temple shrines to seek divine blessings
