Overview

  • Deutsche Telekom has released the T Phone 3 and T Tablet 2 in ten European markets at €149 and €199 respectively, with free or discounted options on select carrier plans
  • Both devices run Magenta AI—an Android 15-based operating system that integrates Perplexity’s assistant at the system level to handle messaging, translation, bookings and camera-based searches via conversation
  • The T Phone 3 sports a 6.58-inch FHD+ 120Hz LTPS display, Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, 5,000 mAh battery with 25W charging, IP54 ingress protection and a 50 MP main camera, while the T Tablet 2 offers a 10.1-inch FHD+ NXTPaper display, MediaTek MT8755 processor and 6,000 mAh battery
  • Software support commitments include three major Android upgrades and six years of security patches for the phone, and five upgrades plus six years of patches for the tablet
  • Both products come with 18 months of Perplexity Pro and three months of Picsart Pro subscriptions; a higher-tier ‘Pro’ T Phone model is slated for later in 2025 and broader international availability remains unannounced
