• A 74-year-old player from Isabella County, who requested anonymity, won the $500,000 top prize on the Michigan Lottery's Detroit Lions instant ticket.
• He said he added the tickets at his wife's suggestion, scratched them the next morning, and told her, "Looks like we're going to Lansing" to claim the prize.
• The winning ticket was purchased at GCK Oil Inc., 206 Main Street in Blanchard, about 20 miles from Mount Pleasant.
• The winner plans to donate part of the money, set aside funds for family including grandchildren, and save the rest.
