Overview

  • Destiny 2 servers went offline for maintenance at 5:45 am PDT on July 15, with a preload available on Steam and the Epic Games Store from 6 am PDT.
  • Edge of Fate became playable at weekly reset times—10 am PDT, 1 pm EDT, 6 pm BST, 7 pm CEST and 3 am AEST—on PlayStation 4/5, Windows, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
  • The expansion concludes the decade-spanning Light and Darkness saga and kicks off Bungie’s new multi-year Fate narrative arc.
  • Players gain access to a non-linear campaign, revamped navigation menus, overhauled abilities and the new Armor 3.0 gear system.
  • The Kepler destination debuts as a dark-matter-shrouded planetoid featuring fresh puzzles, Vanguard and Crucible activities and singularity lore.
