• The designation covers a two-mile section of the Clearwater Memorial Causeway Trail between Oak Avenue and Coronado Drive.
• New outdoor workout stations are planned along the route in Hogan’s signature red-and-yellow colors.
• A red-and-yellow commemorative sign was already installed along the trail Friday morning.
• Hogan, 71, died in July of a heart attack at his Clearwater home, with police still reviewing the case as of late August, and his son said he would be proud of the honor.
