Erbert underwent two surgeries, one to remove a cranial hematoma and another to replace a large portion of her skull that had been removed during the first surgery.
Both Hough and Erbert shared emotional year-end posts on Instagram, expressing gratitude for the highs and lows of the year and their love for each other.
Hough praised the medical team, especially Dr. Mai, for their expertise and for saving Erbert's life.
