Derek Connolly to Adapt Sega's 'Eternal Champions' for Skydance

The live-action film will bring the 1993 fighting game to the big screen, produced by Skydance and Sega.

'Eternal Champions' is a Sega fighting game set in a dystopian future with a unique tournament premise.
Derek Connolly, known for 'Jurassic World' and 'Detective Pikachu,' will write the screenplay.
Skydance's David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger will produce, alongside Sega's Toru Nakahara.
The game featured nine fighters from different eras, each battling for a chance to change their fate.
Connolly is also working on the 'Legend of Zelda' adaptation and a 'Transformers/G.I. Joe' crossover film.
