Overview

• Deputies responded to a shoplifting call at the Walmart on 10900 East Briarwood Ave. in Centennial shortly after 7 a.m. Sunday.
• The sheriff’s office says the man advanced toward deputies with a machete and a knife after a Taser deployment was ineffective.
