Overview

  • Burgin was arrested on July 14 at a Kenton County, Kentucky, gas station after officers discovered an active Hamilton County warrant while he was cleaning his car.
  • He waived an extradition hearing on July 15 and was transported to the Hamilton County Justice Center in Ohio on July 17.
  • He also faces a Cincinnati Police Department warrant for an alleged June 21 armed carjacking in which officers say he pistol-whipped a victim and stole a Mercedes-Benz C300.
  • The Hamilton County warrant stems from a March 6 traffic citation for failure to reinstate his driver’s license and improper plate display and from skipping a May 5 court date.
  • Jackson obtained the restraining order by alleging six months of weekly domestic abuse culminating in a Mother’s Day assault on her while holding their newborn son, Kasai.
