Deok Noh to Direct Korean Remake of ‘Drishyam’

The Anthology–Panorama co-production extends the Malayalam hit’s global remake run.

Anthology Studios president Choi Jae-won confirmed Noh’s appointment at Busan’s Asian Contents & Film Market.
Production is slated to start next year, with casting, locations and release plans yet to be announced.
The project pairs South Korea’s Anthology Studios with India’s Panorama Studios, a partnership first unveiled at Cannes in 2023.
Noh’s credits include Very Ordinary Couple, The Exclusive: Beat the Devil’s Tattoo, SF8 and Netflix’s Glitch.
Jeetu Joseph’s 2013 Malayalam original starring Mohanlal spawned multiple remakes and sequels, and an English-language version is reported in development with Panorama, Gulfstream Pictures and JOAT Films.
