Denzel Washington and Spike Lee are reuniting for their fifth film collaboration, an adaptation of Akira Kurosawa's 1963 crime thriller 'High and Low'.
The film will be produced by Apple Original Films and A24, with a theatrical release planned before it launches globally on Apple TV+.
Production of the highly anticipated film adaptation is set to begin in March.
'High and Low' will be an English-language adaptation of the original film, which followed a wealthy businessman whose chauffeur's son is mistakenly kidnapped.
